Author Bio – Wallace Delois Wattles (1860–1911) was an American author and one of the most famous New Thought writers. His writings have been widely quoted and remain in print in the New Thought and self-help movements. Rhonda Byrne has stated that her inspiration for creating the 2006 hit film The Secret and the subsequent book by the same name was her exposure to Wattles’s The Science of Getting Rich.
Summary – This is the third volume of Wallace Wattles’ trilogy (includes Science of Getting Rich and Science of Being Well), and it focuses on the inner power we have to grow in the direction we so choose. When we see an artist painting beautiful work or a scientist discovering a new formula we call that person a genius. Wallace argues that genius is just the outflowing of this power within us. Thus, we are all meant to be geniuses in our own field if we could just harness that power.
Main Takeaway – There is a principle of power in every person. Anyone can become great.
